Practical storage box solution that’s really neat!

The holiday season’s over and the Christmas tree’s been taken down – but where are you going to put all those decorations, fairy lights and other festive accessories? White plastic storage boxes (ideally stackable ones) are a really practical solution. You can even decorate the boxes with suitable designs to show what they contain. Permanent markers are the perfect pens for this because the ink adheres permanently, meaning they’re ideal for adding clear and striking designs that will make it quick and easy to find everything again next year.

Step 1

We created our designs using edding 550 permanent markers with athick round tip. Just choose your favourite colours! Our handytemplates are also available for you to print out, but if you can't findwhat you're looking for, you can simply create your own.

Step 2

Place the template inside the box so you can easily see the design.

Next, secure the template using a strip of adhesive tape.

Step3

Now simply transfer the motif onto your box using a permanentmarker.

Step 4

And there you have it - one storage box ready for your Christmasbaubles!

You can then repeat the same steps to design any other storageboxes you need.
