Cook up a delicious taste of Korea
Kimchi is a traditional Korean dish made from seasoned and fermented napa cabbage (Chinese cabbage). You can create your very own kimchi at home by following our recipe and top tips. We’ll also be showing you how to create a stylish and waterproof label for your jar. Once fermented, your homemade kimchi will last 2–3 weeks in the fridge.

Step 1
edding 3000 permanent markers are perfect for labelling your jar.Simply grab your favourite colour, download our template and print itout. Remember that you may need to adjust the size of the templateto fit your jar.

Step 2
Cut the inscription for your label off the top of the template sheet andinsert it into your jar. Fix the template to the inside of the glass usingsticky tape to prevent it from slipping.

Step3
Trace over the design using your permanent marker.

Step 4
Add your kimchi to the jar and leave it to ferment at room temperaturefor 5-7 days.
