Craft your own paper aquarium
Kids really love watching colourful fish and other sea creatures. But if you’re not quite ready to go out and buy your own fish tank, why not spend a fun afternoon with your little ones and craft this colourful mini aquarium of fish made out of paper? All you need to do is download our template featuring fish, jellyfish, crabs and much more besides. Next, simply grab yourself some FUNTASTICS fibre pens for children and get colouring!

Step 1
You can see all the materials you need for this project in the picturebelow. You'll need FUNTASTICS pens with broad and fine nibs.Choose your favourite colours.

Step 2
Print out the template on a sheet of A4 paper and colour in thecreatures and plants however you like.

Step 3
Broad-tipped pens are great for colouring larger areas in next to notime. Fine-tipped pens, by contrast, are perfect for adding extra littledetails.

Step 4
It can be really fun to do the colouring together as this allows you toshare ideas and encourage each other.

Step 5
If you really want to add lots ofdetail to your design, we suggestcolouring the fishes' scales in a whole range of different colours.

Step 6
Once you've finished colouring, cut out the creatures neatly with a pairof scissors. A grown-up may need to help with this step.

Step 7
Place the creatures face down and attach them to the top of woodenskewers using sticky tape.

Step 8
Finally, place each of the skewers into your bowl of sand. You canmake your aquarium look even more realistic by using skewers indifferent lengths.
