A sweet surprise for young and old!
No Christmas would be complete without a stocking stuffed full of goodies. And it’s not just young children who’d love to unpack the sweet treats and stocking fillers found inside this Christmas stocking. With the help of edding 4600 textile pens, it’s incredibly simple to create your very own personalised stocking. The pens are available in 20 fantastic colours. What’s more, to make things even easier, we’ve even got a design template for you to download.

Step 1
Before you start, we recommend you wash and dry your stocking toensure that the textile pen ink adheres well to the fabric. We'vecreated our design using edding 4600 textile pens in black and red,but there are other great colours to choose from if you prefer.

Step 2
Print out the template and cut it to the correct size. Next, slide thetemplate inside your stocking, making sure you can see the designthrough the fabric so you can trace it.

Step 3
Using your black textile pen, trace over the outlines of the FatherChristmas motif before gradually adding the other design elements. You can also personalise your stocking by adding the recipient's nameto the cuff at the top.

Step 4
Once the outline is complete, use your other textile pens to colour inyour design (red for the coat, perhaps, and black for the boots andgloves).

Step 5
Once you've done that, run an iron over your finished design (withoutsteam) to fix the ink to ensure your finished stocking can be washedat up to 60°C.

Step 6
If you want to create multiple stockings with different designs, we'vealso got a second template that looks like this.
