Design your own posters with edding

The International Day of Peace, a UN initiative, is observed each year on 21st September. If you, too, would like to show your support for world peace, there’s no better way to do so than by designing your own poster. edding permanent markers come in a range of colours and are available in various nib widths, from really fine to extra broad. Step 1

You can see the materials you need at a glance in the photo above.Think about how big you want your posters to be and cut yourcardboard to size accordingly. To draw the peace symbol, you willneed a round piece of cardboard. Use a compass or suitably sizedplate to help you. If you want your posters to be really noticeable,edding permanent markers are the perfect choice. Select the coloursand stroke widths you like best.

Step 2

To draw the peace symbol, take the edding 500 (chisel tip) and firstdraw a large circle before dividing the circle into three sections.

Step 3

By using the thin end of the chisel tip of the edding 500, you'll be ableto create really fine lines (as you can see here in this photo).

Step 4

Your poster won't be complete without a few flowers for decoration.

This is where the edding 3000 comes in handy.

Step 5

The square poster, for example, can be designed using broad strokesto create striking lettering. The edding 500 is perfect for this. To help you, we've got another template for you to download.

Step 6

For the floral sprays, use the edding 550 with its thick, round tip. Once your posters are ready, fix them to a wooden dowel using sticky tape.
